Wedding videography and photography FAQs

Answers to the questions couples ask me most about wedding films and photos.

Do you provide wedding videography and photography in Teesside and the North East?

Yes! I am a professional wedding videographer and photographer based in Billingham. I primarily serve couples across Teesside, Durham, Hartlepool, Darlington and the wider North East England area. I am also available for destination weddings across the UK and the world.

Do you film Asian weddings?

Yes. I have filmed and photographed Asian weddings across the North East and Yorkshire, including Muslim, Pakistani and Bangladeshi celebrations. Longer days, more than one ceremony and large guest lists are all fine; tell me the plan and I quote for the whole thing. See the Werneth Suite and Crossley House wedding films on the Films page.

What is your photography style?

My style is documentary: authentic storytelling with a relaxed, natural feel that captures your day exactly as it unfolds. Whether you would like every moment covered from the morning preparations, or just the ceremony and celebrations, I have a package to suit you.

What is your wedding filming and photography style?

My style is “Documentary and Cinematic.” This means that I focus on natural, candid moments rather than staged poses. I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible: most couples tell me they didn’t even notice I was there, which allows for authentic storytelling of your special day.

Do you offer combined wedding photography and videography packages?

Absolutely. Many couples prefer a combined package because it ensures a consistent visual style across both your photos and your film. It also means you only have to deal with one point of contact (depending on the couple’s requirements), making your wedding planning much simpler.

Is professional drone footage included in your wedding films?

Yes, I include aerial drone cinematography in all my full-day wedding packages at no extra cost. I use the latest technology to capture breathtaking views of your venue and large group shots of all your guests from above (subject to weather conditions and local airspace regulations).

How much does a wedding videographer cost in the North East?

I offer a range of packages to suit different budgets, from short-day, content-creator-style package edits to full-day cinematic productions. My pricing is transparent, with no hidden travel fees for weddings within 100 miles of Billingham. I quote every wedding individually after a quick chat about your day, with no obligation.

What is a wedding content creator package?

This is a newer service, perfect for couples who want high-quality film with the highlights of the day as short clips, vertical or landscape depending on your preference. Vertical clips are optimised for Instagram Reels and TikTok, allowing you to share the highlights of your wedding day instantly.

Can we choose the music for our wedding highlight film?

To ensure your video can be shared online without copyright issues, I use high-quality, licensed music libraries. I always discuss your musical tastes beforehand to ensure the soundtrack perfectly matches the mood and energy of your wedding day. Alternatively, you can choose your own music to be played on the main wedding video.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos and videos?

I pride myself on a fast turnaround. Your full gallery of edited photos and your final cinematic film are usually delivered within 4 to 10 weeks. However, depending on the date of your wedding, this can be a longer or shorter period of time. Final products are delivered on a personalised USB or an online gallery, depending on the package you choose.

Are you fully insured for drone and ground filming?

Yes. I carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance, including specialist commercial drone insurance. I am happy to provide copies of my insurance certificates to your wedding venue upon request.

Do you only cover the North East?

No. I am based in Billingham and most of my weddings are across the North East and North Yorkshire, but I film and photograph weddings anywhere in the UK and abroad for destination weddings. Travel is included within 100 miles of Billingham; further afield I quote the travel with your package.

How do we book you for our wedding date?

To secure your date, simply use the contact form on my website. I require a small booking fee to hold the date and the remaining balance is due one month before the wedding. I recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance for peak summer dates.
