Hardwick Hall at Sedgefield is on my list of favourite venues: a country house hotel with luxury suites, set beside Hardwick Park, an 18th-century landscaped park with a lake and follies.

Darlington is where the Stockton and Darlington Railway began in 1825, the first public railway to use steam locomotives, and the town marked its 200th anniversary in 2025. Sedgefield’s medieval St Edmund’s Church is a lovely setting for a ceremony, and Middleton St George sits right next to Teesside International Airport, which is handy for guests flying in.
If your ceremony is in a church and your reception somewhere else, tell me the timings early so I can plan the route and leave time for portraits on the way. Not sure how much of the day you need filmed? Many couples choose the ceremony and speeches only, and I will happily quote for that. Hardwick Park, beside Hardwick Hall, has paths around its lake that make a lovely, unhurried setting for a walk together after the ceremony.

How I work
I cover the whole day or just the part you need, and I do it without directing you or your guests. You get honest, natural pictures and a film with clear sound from the vows and the speeches.
With the weather and the airspace on my side, I also film the venue from the air. Darlington is a short drive from Billingham, well inside the 100 miles I cover with no travel fees.
I edit every film myself, beautifully and carefully, and will happily make small changes once you have watched it.
