Wedding Videographer & Photographer in Newcastle and Gateshead
From the quaysides of the Tyne to country estates in Northumberland, I film and photograph weddings across Newcastle, Gateshead and beyond. One of my favourite photographs was taken at the waterfall in Jesmond Dene.

Weddings I have filmed in Newcastle and Gateshead
In the city, I filmed Lee and Jasmine’s wedding at The Biscuit Factory. Athena and Rob married at Northside Farm in Horsley, west of Newcastle: an exclusive-use barn venue set in 70 acres of land, lakes and woodland. Both films are below. Catherine and Marc married at Spanish City, the restored seafront dome at Whitley Bay, and their film is on my films page. Further north I have worked at four Northumberland favourites: Matfen Hall, a five-star stately estate; Healey Barn, a rustic stone barn near Riding Mill; Le Petit Château at Otterburn, French-inspired and full of character; and Newton Hall at Newton-by-the-Sea, close to the coast. The Newcastle and Gateshead quaysides face each other across the Tyne, joined by the Tyne Bridge and the tilting Gateshead Millennium Bridge: a classic city setting for portraits. Jesmond Dene, the wooded valley of the Ouseburn between Jesmond and Heaton, offers a quieter, greener one.
City weddings move quickly: a ceremony in town, a few photographs on the Quayside or in a park, then on to the reception. I plan that route with you beforehand, so portraits fit around the traffic and the timetable rather than eating into your drinks reception. For Northumberland venues the drive is part of the day, and the evening light over the hills is worth stepping outside for.

How I work
On the day I keep a low profile. I would rather catch a real laugh than ask for a staged one, so I move quietly around you and your guests.
Your vows and speeches are recorded with professional audio, and when the weather and airspace allow I take the drone up for a view of your venue that your guests never see. Newcastle and Gateshead are well within 100 miles of Billingham, so there is no travel fee.
