Wedding Videographer & Photographer in York and North Yorkshire
Many of my favourite films were made in North Yorkshire. I film and photograph weddings from York and Northallerton out to the North York Moors and the coast at Scarborough, at venues such as Thief Hall, High Brockholme Barns and Hackness Grange.
Based in Billingham and covering the whole of the North East, BlueSkyMoments also films weddings anywhere in the UK and destination weddings by arrangement.

Weddings I have filmed in North Yorkshire
Thief Hall at Thornton-le-Moor is a restored 16th-century barn in a 250-acre setting, booked for whole-weekend celebrations and known for its sunsets; it has its own page and film. High Brockholme Barns at Danby Wiske is an exclusive rustic barn and farm, where I filmed Beth and Will. At Hackness Grange near Scarborough, a classic country house, I filmed Thomas and Jessica on a foggy day that suited the film beautifully; Elisa and Andy’s film from there is below.
My films also take in Egton Manor and Danby Castle in the North York Moors, Goldsborough Hall near Knaresborough and Carlton Towers near Selby. You can watch every one on my films page.

Towns I cover
York, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough, the North York Moors and everywhere in between.
York Minster and the medieval city walls make York one of the most photographed cities in the country, and the moors, dales and coast around it change with every season.
North Yorkshire venues are often a long drive from guests’ homes, so many couples choose a two- or three-day celebration. If that is your plan, I can film the build-up as well as the day itself; just ask. On the moors and the coast the weather changes quickly, so I always have a plan for portraits indoors, and a misty morning can make the most atmospheric film of all.
Nearby areas: Teesside and Darlington. See all the venues I love.
How I work
Barn weddings and country houses suit my way of working. I stay in the background and let the day run at its own pace, from quiet mornings to the last song.
Professional microphones catch the vows and speeches, and on full-day films I add drone footage of the venue and the countryside around it, weather and airspace permitting. Northallerton, York and Scarborough are all within 100 miles of Billingham, so there are no travel fees.
