Wedding Videographer & Photographer in Sunderland and Hartlepool
Sunderland and Hartlepool share a stretch of North East coast, and both are close to my base in Billingham. I film and photograph weddings across Wearside, Hartlepool and the coast in between, with the same natural, unobtrusive approach I bring to every wedding.
Based in Billingham and covering the whole of the North East, BlueSkyMoments also films weddings anywhere in the UK and destination weddings by arrangement.
Weddings on the coast
Between the two towns, Dalton Old Pump House at Seaham is one of the venues I love; you will find it on my Durham and County Durham page. Wynyard Hall, just over the Tees, has its own page and film.

Sunderland, Roker and Seaburn, Hartlepool, Seaton Carew and everywhere in between.
Roker Pier and its lighthouse, Penshaw Monument on its hill above Wearside, Hartlepool’s Historic Quay with HMS Trincomalee at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and the long beach at Seaton Carew all make memorable backdrops for portraits. Close to the seafront, Roker Park, with its bandstand and wooded ravine, offers a sheltered alternative on a breezy day.
Coastal weddings bring their own weather. Wind off the sea can lift a veil beautifully, but it can also carry away the vows, which is why I record vows and speeches with professional microphones rather than relying on a camera microphone. Late-afternoon light along the seafront is soft and warm in summer, so if your venue is near the coast, a few minutes outside before dinner is usually worth it.

You get professionally recorded vows and speeches, natural photographs and, weather and airspace permitting, drone footage that shows your venue and the coast from above. Both towns are within easy reach of Billingham, and there are no travel fees within 100 miles.
Your film is beautifully edited by myself, and I am always happy to tweak a song or a moment once you have seen it.
